Membership is one thing: the other people in it.

RAVL is not a set of features you unlock. It is a group of people who travel for work, who were read by a person before they got in, and who are in the same city as you often enough for that to matter. Membership is how you reach them.

Four things, and the first one is the whole point.

  • Everyone who is also away

See the members whose trips overlap yours — same city, same week. Not a directory of everyone who lives there, which would be no use to you at all.

  • One to one, from the start

Message one person and agree one evening. There is no feed, nothing to swipe through, and nobody is being scored.

  • Events, when a group is easier

A pub meetup, a supper, occasionally something grander — for when meeting one person feels like a lot. Tickets are priced per event and buy you the food, drink or activity; they are not part of the membership.

  • A reviewed group, and a way out

A person reads every profile before that account can message anyone. Blocking holds everywhere, not just in the conversation you were in, and reporting reaches a person.

Free is the whole product. Elite is more of it.

Everything that makes the network denser is free, because a network is only worth joining if the people are already in it. Elite is for getting more out of one that is.

What Elite is not, deliberately: a way to push other members down a list. Nobody is buried because somebody else upgraded.

The five we actually get asked.

Who else is on it?
People who travel for work, each read by a person before they were let in. We do not publish a member count — the number that would actually help you is how many are in your city in the week you are there, and that changes every week.
What if nobody is in my city that week?
Then nothing happens, which is the honest answer. Declaring the trip takes about ten seconds and asks nothing else of you, and if somebody turns up in the same week you will hear about it. Some cities are busier than others.
Can I cancel?
Yes, whenever you want, and it stops at the end of the period you have paid for.
Is this a dating app?
No. Everyone here is working away from home, and the whole thing is built around one evening in a city you do not live in. If you are looking for something else, this is the wrong app and you will find it a disappointment.
What happens to my data if I leave?
